

Shrimp Scampi

Ingrédients
1 ½ pounds large fresh shrimp tails, peeled with tail ends attached
½ pound butter, soft
2 tablespoons white wine
1 tablespoon finely minced garlic
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon parsley
1 teaspoon chili flakes
kosher salt and ground black pepper t.t.
Méthode
- Pre heat oven to Broil High.
- Fold the wine, lemon juice, zest, garlic, herbs and chili flake into the softened butter and whisk to incorporate very well.
- Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, shingle the shrimp tails in even layers in a baking dish. Spread approx. 1-2 teaspoons of the scampi butter over each shrimp.
- Place it in the oven on the middle rack and cook for approximately 8-10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and serve immediately with thick slices of grilled bread.
