Shrimp Scampi

Ingrédients

1 ½ pounds large fresh shrimp tails, peeled with tail ends attached
½ pound butter, soft
2 tablespoons white wine
1 tablespoon finely minced garlic
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon parsley
1 teaspoon chili flakes
kosher salt and ground black pepper t.t. 

Méthode

  1. Pre heat oven to Broil High
  2. Fold the wine, lemon juice, zest, garlic, herbs and chili flake into the softened butter and whisk to incorporate very well.
  3. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, shingle the shrimp tails in even layers in a baking dish. Spread approx. 1-2 teaspoons of the scampi butter over each shrimp. 
  4. Place it in the oven on the middle rack and cook for approximately 8-10 minutes. 

Remove from the oven and serve immediately with thick slices of grilled bread.
