Ingredients

1 cup Crisco (vegetable shortening)
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
4 eggs
2 cup sugar
1 ½ cup flour
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 teaspoons baking powder

Method

  1. Pre heat oven to Bake 350 degrees. Melt the shortening and add the cocoa. 
  2. Whisk in the eggs. 
  3. Mix all the remaining dry ingredients together and add to the cocoa mixture and vanilla. Mix again until well combined.
  4. Bake in a greased pan at 350 for approximately 30-40 minutes.
